When NBC’s Hannibal premiered last year, it was one of the most shocking television debuts in years.
For a while, fans were left to wonder if the Hannibal showrunners had found a way to make a show that would actually be entertaining to watch.
Now, with Season 4 coming this fall, we can expect even more craziness.
The showrunner, Bryan Fuller, told reporters last month that season 4 would feature “a lot of the weirdest and funniest stuff we’ve ever done.”
And he may have just delivered the best teaser yet.
“We’re going to be bringing in a bunch of new characters and new stories, and there are some new stories we’re doing that we haven’t done before,” Fuller said.
“The weirdest thing we’ve done is a bunch in this episode.”
The new season will include “a ton of weird and weird things,” but the one that caught our attention was a new twist on the “Hannibal” story, which is centered on a serial killer known as “The Black.”
He’s the one who killed the famous playwright, Anthony Hopkins, and is obsessed with Hopkins’ murder.
It turns out that The Black has also been killing people for the past 10 years.
In a way, that’s the strangest twist.
Hannibal is about a serial murderer who’s obsessed with his murder.
So why is the Black obsessed with the murder of Hopkins?
The only explanation we could come up with was that Fuller was using Hopkins as a plot device.
The writers seem to have gotten it right in Season 4.
The Black is now a serial rapist, who is responsible for the death of the playwright.
But this time, he’s also killing other people.
So, is this season really going to include a lot of new weirdness?
We asked Fuller and his team if they were really going into Season 4 thinking they were going to make an original show.
“I’m not sure,” Fuller told us, “but I’m confident that it will be fun.”
In Season 4, The Black will have his own version of the “Black Code,” a code that he has been using to keep people in line.
He’ll use the code to keep other people in the dark.
He’s going to use it to keep his minions in line, and then he’ll use it again to keep everyone else in line and the “black” away.
Fuller says that he plans to use a lot more people in Season 5.
He also said that Season 4 will feature some “horror” and “sadness” in the show, but that it’ll be about “a whole other type of horror.”
We asked Fuller if he’d ever done a show like this before, and he said that the writers had asked him for ideas and that they’d never had a chance to tell him if they wanted to do it.
“And then we were like, ‘No, no, no,'” Fuller said, “because it’s not fun to do a show where you have these weird characters that are the antagonists and you have all these weird things that happen to them.
We’re not even trying to have a plot.””
We’re not trying to make something like The Twilight Zone, where you’ve got these guys who are the bad guys, who are all evil and they’re all evil in the way that you would imagine, but we’re not making it.
We’re not even trying to have a plot.”
This is one of those shows where the showrunners are just taking what they have learned from their past shows and trying to take it to the next level, and that’s a lot to take in.
We asked if this show was going to take things to the extreme, like with the Black Code, and Fuller replied, “We’ll see.”
