The new season of Ozark is set to be released in the autumn of 2017.
The show’s premiere episode, “Ozark,” is set on the Ozarks and features a flashback of the life of a family who survived a tornado in Oklahoma.
Ozarks creator James Wan will direct the episode and will write the script with actor Josh Jackson (Brenton Thwaites’ wife).
Wan has previously said the show will explore themes such as the Ozark community, the impact of climate change and the legacy of the Oklahoma tornado.
While Ozark may be based on the fictional town of Oz, the show’s creators have made sure that the show doesn’t feel like a movie.
“Ozars world is one of survival, a place where people live in fear, where you never know what is going to happen,” Wan said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
“It’s a really dark, dark place and it’s very hard to get there.”
The show will also explore the impact that climate change is having on the region.
During the season premiere, the Ozaras daughter is left in a hotel room, after a tornado swept through the town.
In the show, she is reunited with her father and is given a chance to put her life back together.
Wan said Ozark will be the first Ozark show to tackle the issue of climate changes.
“It’s such a big deal that the climate is changing and we have to do something about it,” Wan told The Hollywood Register.
“We have to address it.
We have to get on board with it and do something to protect our environment.”
The series also features an alternate ending where the family is reunited.
Wan said that his daughter’s family will never forget her.
“She has to go back to her parents because she never wants to go,” Wan explained.
“She wants to be able to tell them that she loves them and she’s not going to let them die.”
Wan added that he hopes viewers will be able see more of his daughter in the future.
“I really hope that viewers will see more in the show because we are a family and we all love each other and we are so much more than a family,” Wan added.
