In an effort to add some spice to the dish, the San Diego Chargers took a trip to Mexico City, and their taco seasoning, or enchiladas, went down well.
In the video above, we’re presented with a bunch of ingredients for taco seasoning (tacos, beef, chili peppers, oregano, cilantro, salt and pepper) in order to make a tasty taco salad.
We also get a few ideas for what to add to this salad, which we’ll discuss next.
Here are a few suggestions for the final product:1.
Chili peppers (add up to 1 tablespoon each of cumin and coriander, which adds a subtle hint of spice)2.
Onion (choose one with a sweet and spicy kick)3.
Cilantro (add one or more green cilantro stems to the mixture and use as a garnish)4.
Salt and pepper (choos to taste)5.
Fresh cilantro (cut to 1/2-inch lengths)6.
Cumin powder (to taste)7.
Garlic powder (optional)8.
Cajun seasoning (optional but worth adding)The final recipe is pretty easy.
Take the ingredients for the ingredients listed above and combine them in a bowl with the cornmeal in it.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt, pepper and cajun seasonings to the mix, mix, then fold in some flour.
If you don’t have any flour, add some to the bowl.
Add the tortilla to a large baking dish and place a small sheet of parchment paper over it.
Spread out the cornflour into the tortillas and sprinkle on the spices.
Place the tortas back on a baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or until the corn is golden and crispy.
Let the tacos cool for 5-10 minutes.
